Children were dewormed, given vitamin A supplements, Immunized on HPV, and those with minor illnesses treated. Those with chronic conditions were examined and referred to County referral hospitals for specialized care. The caregivers were equally examined and sensitized on prevention and management of childhood illnesses. This has ensured Good Health is the most essential thing in the well-being of children it provides them with a foundation for building steady brains that support skills and learning capacities throughout their lives. To ensure safety of pregnant mothers and care for infants and young children, the program in partnership with the county government of Narok through the health department facilitated training of 33 TOTs on safe mother hood and usage of health kits. Further, the program distributed sanitary kits to children in Kajiado west.
