The program strives to support communities to have safe clean drinking water and hygienic facilities. The support includes supporting the communities with drilling of boreholes and pipeline extension including pipeline repairs. Stories of Impact

To address shortage of water and cases of waterborne diseases in the community, in the last fy, the organization, drilled a borehole, purchased water storage tanks and installed a solar water pump, erected a water that will supply water by gravity to the community water point at Kikuyian. The organization further rehabilitated a stalled borehole at Naironde in Kajiado west both serving 3600 community members. Lack of clean water in the area has led to water-related diseases such as diarrhea, amoeba and worm infestation. Frequent and severe droughts also aggravate the water situation in the area leading to emaciation of livestock and low production of milk for household consumption and for sale. This initiative has reduced cases of water borne diseases and distance travelled by women and children to access clean water. Access to clean water is not merely a basic necessity; it is the lifeblood of communities, the sustenance that nourishes existence. This precious resource plays a pivotal role in shaping the lives of its inhabitants.
